As a part of the Orange County Public Schools System, each Tech Center maintains a financial aid office. We are committed to meeting the needs of the individual students. Financial Assistance is available for eligible students who may not be able to continue their education without such support. Once eligibility has been determined, the student receiving financial aid is expected to maintain satisfactory progress and attendance as defined by our policy. All students interested in applying for financial aid should make an appointment with the financial aid office.

Prior to receiving financial aid, the student must complete an application for classes and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Students seeking financial aid must have proof of the previous year’s household income and proof of current income. Previous income may be demonstrated with a copy of a tax return or an IRS Form 1722. Current income may be demonstrated with a current pay stub, proof of Aid for Families with Dependent Children (AFDC), or a current statement of Social Security benefits.

Once a Free Application for Federal Student Aid has been completed and processed the student should schedule an appointment with the financial aid office to discuss eligibility requirements.

The following sources of financial aid are available through Westside Tech: Federal Pell Grant, Migrant/Seasonal Farmworkers’ Program, Title IV, Section 402, Central Florida J.E.P., One-Stop Center System, Veteran’s Education Benefits, Student Financial Assistant Fund (SFAF).
