MIGRANT FARMWORKERS PROGRAM

If you meet the requirements listed below, you can apply for training and job placement through the Orange County School System’s Adult Migrant Education

Requirements:

• You are a migrant and/or seasonal farm worker who is currently unemployed.
• Your family’s income is below the poverty level.
• You have been employed on a seasonal basis during the last 24 months.
• More than half of your household’s earned income is derived from migrant and/or seasonal farm work.
• You are a legal resident of the United States.

You can attend any of the Orange Technical Education Centers for training. Each offers an extensive list of training opportunities.

English as a Second Language

Job Placement - Our program will assist you in finding a job.

Learn employability skills that will enable you to get and keep a job.

Remedial Education

An hourly stipend - so that you can earn while you learn!

Si usted cumple con los requisitos abajo indicados, puede solicitar entrenamiento y servicio de colocación de empleos a través del programa de Educación para Adultos Migrantes del Sistema Escolar del Condado Orange.

Requistos:

• Usted es un trabajador agrícola migrante y/o de temporada que se encuentra actualmente desempleado.
• El ingreso de su familia está por debajo del nivel de pobreza.
• Usted ha estado empleado durante los últimos 24 meses en base a temporadas.
