Duel
Enrollment Program
Westside
Tech has joined with our area high schools
in offering an innovative Orange County Public
Schools program called Dual Enrollment.
Dual Enrollment
students receive the benefits of attending both schools - they are
able to remain a part of their home school, enjoying high school
activities while they train for the job market. They graduate with
their class and receive diplomas. They may then enter the work force,
pursue further technical training, or attend college. Westside
Tech program completers often earn above average wages
upon entering the work force.
Through Dual
Enrollment, high school students earn their elective credits
at Westside Tech while earning academic credits at their home schools.
Multiple credits in one training field may be earned, allowing the
student to complete a majority of a training program while still
in high school. If students have technical skills from previous
training, credit may be awarded if they enter a related training
program at Westside Tech. The students are provided with
transportation and typically spend three hours on the Westside
Tech campus
each day.
Through
dual Enrollment, you can

credits at Westside in our technical training programs
- Earn academic
credits at your high school
- Make up credit
deficiencies through special options
- Learn valuable
job skills without paying tuition costs
- Graduate
prepared for the job market
