a certificate of completion in this 1900 hour program you can do
a number of things. We have an articulation program with Valencia

and from there go on to a University to get an Engineering or Architecture
Degree. You can also go straight to a University after completing.
With a certificate of completion in this Drafting program you can

Upon
entering the class you would begin on the drafting boards learning
how to hand draft. You will be learning basic drafting techniques
before going onto learning how to draw floor plans, foundations,
elevations, truss layouts, and sections. Once completing this you
will have a final Basic House Plan project to turn in. You will
then proceed to learning the AutoCAD program along with going deeper
in building plans, electrical plans and site plans. Part of the
AutoCAD program also includes learning 3D modeling and presentation
drawings. To complete the course you will be creating and designing
your own house plans. This is an open ended program that can be
started at anytime.
On
a regular basis we receive job placement inquiries from the Orlando
area workforce with the possibility of internships while completing
the AutoCAD portion of the class.
