H.S. Cosmotology

DESCRIPTION: This program prepares students for employment as cosmetologists. Training includes Florida cosmetology law and rules, acquisition of knowledge of cosmetology and related chemistry, anatomy and physiology and development of skills in the practice of cosmetology.
LENGTH: 1200 hours

PROGRAM COST: In addition to required tuition fees, textbooks and lab fees for this program are approximately:
  • Books $475
  • Lab fees, supplies and uniforms $250
  • State Examination $80
UNIQUE REQUIREMENTS: None


LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/OTHER: Must pass Florida State Board of Cosmetology in order to work in the cosmetology field.
